is a pan-European AI network of excellence which aims to secure lasting international leadership of AI made in Europe by connecting top researchers in this field and by creating a multi-centric AI research laboratory. The annual appointment of ELLIS scholars recognises promising researchers who show a clear trajectory towards becoming senior leaders in AI and machine learning research.

Mingfei, recently promoted to Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, has been a key member of the ELLIS Â鶹Æƽâ°æ Faculty since the unit was founded, working closely with colleagues from across The University of Â鶹Æƽâ°æ and with ELLIS sites across Europe.
