Application and selection process

How to apply

You must create an account on Santander Open Academy to apply (if you’re not registered already).

You will be required to complete an online assessment on the Santander Open Academy Platform by the closing date 11 February 2027 (hereinafter, the ‘Online Assessment’). This Online Assessment involves a series of questions to assess the skills and abilities of the applicants to select the scholarship winners. (The link for the assessment will be included in an email from Santander Open Academy that confirms your application form submission was successful). Your submission is not complete if you do not complete the Online Assessment, and your application will be disregarded.

What you need to apply

Your student ID number.

Selection process

After the closing date, The University of Â鶹Æƽâ°æ will verify your status as a care-experienced student, through our Independent Students team. We will then use your score from the online assessment to allocate the scholarship.

If you're chosen as a winner, you must accept the scholarship within 7 days, by following the instructions that will be emailed to you. Failure to do this within the time will result in the scholarship being reassigned to another student.
